Cookie & Device Storage Policy

Last updated: 2 October 2026

1. What This Policy Covers

This policy explains the cookies, local storage and comparable device-storage technologies Betimind actually uses, why we use them, and how you can accept, reject or change them. "Device storage" covers browser cookies, browser local storage and similar technologies. You can change your choices at any time in Settings → Privacy & Data → Manage privacy preferences.

2. Strictly Necessary (Always On)

These keep the service secure and working and cannot be switched off. Sign-in session: your authentication session is held in your browser's local storage (base44_access_token) so you stay signed in; it is removed when you log out. App bootstrap: small base44_* keys carry the app and routing identifiers needed to connect your browser to the service. Consent record: your privacy choice itself (betimind_privacy_consent) so we can honour it. Security and essential routing are handled by our platform provider, Base44. These items store no advertising data and are not used for marketing.

3. Preferences (Optional — Your Choice)

These remember interface choices on your device. They are used only if you accept optional technologies (or enable Preferences in Manage preferences), and are cleared if you reject or later withdraw. Sidebar state: a sidebar_state cookie (7 days) remembering whether the navigation sidebar is open. Calculator inputs: calc_last_stake and calc_preferred_format, remembering your last stake and odds format in the calculators. Companion local memory: tettey_long_term_memory and tettey_meta_signals, which let personalisation features remember patterns between sessions on your device. Interface dismissals: cta_dismissed_at_count and betimind-dismiss-* keys, so you do not see the same banner or prompt repeatedly. None of these are shared with third parties.

4. Analytics (Optional — Your Choice)

If you accept optional technologies, Betimind records a small number of anonymous service analytics events through our platform (Base44) — for example which homepage hero variation you saw and interactions with the free-tip explainer. These events do not include your name, email address or the content of your conversations. Analytics is off until you accept it, and you can switch it off at any time. Betimind uses no advertising cookies, no tracking pixels and no third-party advertising trackers.

5. External Resources

The interface uses the Inter and JetBrains Mono fonts, which load from Google Fonts when pages render. Fetching them shares standard request information (such as your IP address and browser type) with Google. This resource is part of the interface itself and is not switched by the consent banner — we disclose it here for transparency rather than claiming it is disabled.

6. Third-Party Storage We Do Not Set

Subscription checkout is hosted by Stripe, so payment pages run under Stripe's own cookies and privacy policy (stripe.com/privacy). Betimind pages themselves do not load Stripe's scripts or set Stripe storage. If you click an affiliate bookmaker link, that bookmaker's site is governed by its own policies.

7. Changing Your Choice

Open Settings → Privacy & Data → Manage privacy preferences (or, before you have made a first choice, the banner shown on your first visit). Rejecting optional technologies clears the preference storage listed in section 3 and keeps analytics off; strictly necessary storage in section 2 continues. You can also clear site data in your browser settings at any time, which will also reset your privacy choice.
